Summary:

The article presents the interpretation of the DPSIR (Driver - Pressure - State - Impact - Response) analysis in the context of flood protection planning. The interpretation is based on the results obtained in the course of DPSIR analysis' application for the purposes of the research project entitled “Study on the flood protection of Malopolskie Voivodship” carried out in 2006 by the Institute of Water Engineering and Water Management, Cracow University of Technology.
