Application of statistical tests of conformity for quality assessment of geodetic measurements

key words: coefficient of flattening (of excess), coefficient of asymmetry (of skewness), statistical test, the null hypothesis

Summary:

In order to check if measurements of vertical angles and displacements
made by electronic total station Nikon NPL-352 are not burdened with systematic
errors, test measurements were performed.
Measurements depended on that vertical angles and elevations to selected
sharp visible, high located points. Vertical angles were measured in two telescope
positions picking 36 measurements.
Elevations were measured in one telescope position, also in number of 36.
For the study were calculated coefficients:
1) flattening „e"
2) asymmetry „S"
and their medium errors me i mS
For the control of these results, the second independent Anderson - Darling
test was made.
Conclusion drawn from the study confirms the accuracy of measurements.
