Analysis of the critical infrastructure using very high resolution imagery data

The article presents the method of analysis of critical infrastructure, basing on the method of detection and identification of recognized objects applied very high resolution imagery data. Authors described the informative contents of both aerial and satellite images. They also showed, that factor usefulness of satellite imageries, is not their high measuring possibilities but the limited interpretative possibilities. Special attention was also paid on radiometrical and spectral resolution of gaining imageries as a critical factors in interpretation of aerial and satellite images process. In the paper the analytic procedures of images as well as using of author's tools to the semi-automatic interpretation of images, were introduced. Presented method includes: the analysis of problem and the definition of interpretative aim of analysis, the selection of source materials, semi-automatic as well as manual interpretation, the results processing in environment of Geographic Information Systems and making accessible data. According to designed method the results of spatial analysis are published with application of WWW servers as well as in the image map form, which is created through cartographical study of ortophotomap, enriched with information coming from other spatial data sources. ...

DETERMINATION OF THE INFLUENCE OF BUILDING MASS ON LANDSLIDE FORMATION USING UNMANNED AERIAL SYSTEMS

Following the torrential rain and floods that occurred between 1997 and 2010, there has been an emergence of new and previously activated processes related to soil and rock landslides in the Polish Carpathians. In light of the damage incurred by landslides, there is a problem with the thorough diagnosis of the nature of phenomena and thus the development of methods to prevent landslides in the future. This article discusses the problem of surveying landslide areas. It highlights the possibility of using photogrammetric methods for digital imaging, as well as determines the dimensions when estimating the mass of buildings within the area of a landslide, with particular emphasis on the use of an unmanned aerial system (UAS). The described method for obtaining processing images involves a non-metric camera mounted on a UAS. The designed projections centre on individual images and elements of angular orientation and the camera interior. This enables the creation and texturing of a triangulated irregular network (TIN) model. The final result in this work is a digital surface model (DSM) and an orthophotomap. It was found that characteristic land types have been occurring in the landslide substrate with key parameters determining their properties. This enabled the determination of ...

Controll of agriculture crops using unmanned aerial systems (UAS)

Currently, the control of supplement payment to agriculture concerns on verification of size of agriculture crops, proceeding of suitable agricultural culture. The size of tillages is defining using law resolution ortophotomap according state of terrain before months (even years). Permanent demands of European Committee Union relating repayment of supplement money for polish agriculture, show that the method applied so far and the supervisory procedures are insufficient. The aim of the article is to present the optimum control methodology of applications relating direct supplement payment to agriculture, on the basis of remote sensing and geodetic data. Thanks to the presented methodology, an effective and giving the unambiguous results control system will be possible to construct. Building and application of interpretative keys as well as the comparative patterns in expertise system for data analysis, will enable the quick identification and the technical description of the crop area. It will be possibleby applying of Unnmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) imageries. ...
