The chosen aspects of sustainable tourism on country health resort areas

In article was presented problems of sustainable tourism, which it answers the conception of sustainable development. The work focuses on theoretical analysis of sustainable tourism, which it is often treated as tool realization of sustainable development, or also as tool development of same tourism. The article is an attempt to state the basic rules of the sustainable tourism on the so-called rural health resort areas. The work shows what kind of tourism can be developed on the analised rural areas, at the same time being in harmony with the concept of the sustainable tourism. In the article, it has been done: the analysis of the national and foreign literature from the domain of the concept of the sustainable tourism, including rural areas, and the observation of the chosen indicators of the sustainable development of health resorts villages. The paper presents the issue of the sustainable tourism which corresponds with the concept of the sustainable development. Ecotourism as a chance of sustainable development of rural areas

Sustainable development is a preferred model of economy in which the most important assumption is social and economic development leading to civili-zation progress and economic development with maximum reduction of adverse impact on the natural environment. Regions where introduction and observation of ecodevelopment principles is particularly important are rural areas. Increasing costs of production and the lack of stable prices of agricultural products make many farmers abandon agricultural activity and search for additional sources of income outside of agriculture. Tourism can be an alternative for agriculture and an additional source of income. Development of agricultural tourism enables to create new jobs without emigration and complete abandonment of current agricul-tural activity. Linking agricultural and tourist agricultural may become the basis for an attractive tourist product. Polish country is perfect for sustainable tourism based on ecodevelopment principles of which are ideal for agrotourism and ecot-ourism. EVALUATION OF THE NATURAL AND TOURISM SPACE OF STOBRAWSKI LANDSCAPE PARK

The paper describes and evaluates the space of Stobrawski Landscape Park located in the north-western part of Opolskie Voivodeship. The study on natural and tourism values was conducted by the "classification-by-points" method. The following evaluation criteria were adopted for the natural values: forestation rate, heterogeneity, the occurrence of natural protection forms and the occurrence of surface water, while for the tourism values, the criteria included: cultural diversity, the number of objects of historical value, the length of tourist trails, the presence of educational paths, and the occurrence of accommodation and catering facilities. Three evaluations, namely natural, tourism, and comprehensive tourism-and-natural evaluation, were carried out. The Head Office of Land Surveying and Cartography data, specialist literature, and field research results were used. The conducted analysis revealed the spatial diversity of the park's assets, which allows the authors to suggest measures aimed at exploiting the tourism potential of the area concerned while observing the principle of sustainable development. In terms of the natural environment, the most valuable fragments of the area under study are river valleys, particularly the Oder river valley, and the north-western part of the park where, inter alia, 4 nature reserves are located.
