The impact of motorway section under construction between the towns of Borek Mały and Boreczek on arable land

This paper presents a simplified method of assessing the impact of a motorway under construction on arable lands. The method developed makes it possible to determine all the losses resulting from and connected with the indi-cated problems of the motor-way impact. A basis for the determination of losses studied is the analysis of variations in land use, soil quality classes, and in the layout of agricultural roads along the axis of the designed motorway. It is as-sumed a measure of the multilateral impact of motorway on arable lands; this measure is a specific variant of lands value. The specificity of this value variant lies in the fact that while determining it, only the variation in the usefulness to ag-ricultural production is assessed. Therefore, it is a measure to valuate arable land usefulness in the agricultural production. Thus, this assumed measure of the mo-torway impact is not a market value. The estimated land value will be close to its market value only in typical agricultural regions where the key parameter to mould the land price is production potential of such lands. The presented method of assessing the motorway impact on arable land is exemplified by a section of ‘A-4' motorway; this ...

Multiple- -valued method as a basis of choice of areas of local plans on example of Trze-bownisko community

The main aim has been achieved by working out a method respecting the multiple- valued choice criteria of areas requiring local lands. This method offers a kind of choice in a professional, measurable, objective, resilient. After suitable modification, the method can be used in all spatial conditions. So far, it has been implemented in the Trzebownisko commune for agricultural and forestry, fields of recreation and tourism appoint, fields of housing, administration and favor, fields of communications or transport or technical infrastructures, fields of waters opened kind of lake and water fix-ups, and which require local planning elaboration the most have been selected. The results confirmed the efficiency of method, its usefulness for planning practice and it`s appropriateness in the prevailing, specific local conditions in the Trzebownisko commune.     ...

Satellite imagery as a source of information about landscape

The thesis contains research on landscape usage and the direction of its changes, in the area of the city of Cracow, with the use of satellite imagery. For this purpose, in addition, several color compositions were made, which were further used to perform image classification. This classification was performed with supervision, accordingly to the class patterns established by the user. These were made, by selecting representative regions, for strictly specified ground objects. As the result of research, the obtained data was discussed and compared. This data is a significant source of information about landscape and landscape usage, which implied the possibility of using satellite imagery in various scientific, landscape-related applications.     ...

Analysis of the fragmentation of private land in the villages of the district Brzozow

In the paper the sizes of crumbling individual grounds in villages of the administrative district Brzozów were introduced in support about synthetic coeffi-cient of the crumbling plots. Counted coefficient of crumbling plots for every village permitted on emission of 4 types of village. The dealt out types of village are diverse under regard the crumbling plots, which can make up one of criteria near establishing the order of village to undertaking the integrating works and the ex-change of grounds. ...

Elaboration of architectural objects using methods of digital photogrammetry

The paper presents application of different digital photogrammetry tech-niques in elaboration of architectural objects. To obtain this aim photos made with non-metric camera, semi-metric camera and also aerial photos were used. As examples following objects were used: monumental Manor House in Mydlniki, Lubomirski Palace in Niezdów and the part of Miechów town. Elaborations were performed on digital autograph VSD and on digital photogrammetric station Delta, and visualization was made in AutoCad program.     ...

Evaluation of effect of consolidation works in Niepołomice commune within the area influenced by the A-4 motorway

The paper shows a trial evaluation of effect of consolidation works executed in four villages located in Niepołomice commune. Parts of the villages was allocated as a result of a number of study elaborations followed by a procedure of reconstruction of spatial structurein connection with construction of Kraków - Tarnów section of the A4 motorway.Works concerning execution of land consolidation project started in 2007 and took three years to complete. Today, all geodesy works related to the project are completed and elaborated project of land consolidation is approved adminis-trative decision. The subject of evaluation were data files concerning land plots and farm holdings before and after execution of land consolidation works. No substantial changes of medium size of land plots were noticed. At the same time, a possibility of implementing a correction to an area being subject of a land consolidation process was demonstrated, which indicates a need for developing a more accurate method determining boundaries of areas, on which land consolidation procedure need to be executed in connection with construction of motorways. ...

Creating parcels using the iteration method

The article touches upon a question about creating parcels for set value while using the iteration method. The author describes the possibility of achieving a final result, making the beforehand defined amount of iterations. For a majority of cases their amount doesn't surpass 17. It also refers to the universality of this method. A shape of a border that we are looking for and direction of planning aren't important in this method. It also can be used in orthogonal or angular planning.     ...

Assessment of information from real estate markets with help of multiple regression analysis models

The article presents an exemplary use of various multiple regression analy-sis models for the purposes of land market research as well as evaluates the degree to which they match the actual market situation, based on an analysis of regression residuals. The research of linear, logarithmic and exponential regres-sion analysis models allowed the study of the effects of assumed variables on the price of the property earmarked for building in one of the village of Little Poland. Obtained results indicate that linear multiple regression analysis model proved to be most optimal because of its interpretation and calculation.     ...

Evaluation of individual plots patchwork in villages divided by the A-4 motorway on the example of Mrowla village

The thesis presents evaluation of individual plots patchwork in villages divided by the A-4 motorway. The research includes ways of analyzing the occurrence of individual plots patchwork in Mrowla village located in Podkarpackie voivodship and divided by the A-4 motorway. The evaluation was carried out for the present state of land spatial structure and it was also studied how it will change after building the motorway. Obtained results show significant deterioration in the degree of configuration of individual plots spatial elements in Mrowla village after building the motorway.     ...

Aerial laser scanning LIDAR of the area of Krakow (precision analysis)

In the article a technology of the aerial laser scanning (LIDAR) was cha-racterized as well as the system architecture its drawbacks and advantages and a precision analysis. The precision analysis of the aerial laser scanning was carried out on the basis of the lidar measurements of Krakow data collected in 2006. For the precision test of the X, Y, Z coordinates two objects were used: the University of Agriculture (Balicka street in Krakow) and the Wawel Hill. In the process of the precision analysis calculations of the mean square errors of the position RMSEX RMSEY RMSEXY , mean square error of the height RMSEZ and the height precision DZ were proposed as well as calculation of the percentage of the deviation frequency.     ...

A new method of delimitation of the urbanization level based on the morphology of the structure of the land division into parcels

In this paper we presented a new structural criterion of land delimitation and a new metod of determination of the urbanization level. The metod is based on the morphology of the structure resulting from the division of land into the parcels. It uses the fact that there are only three morphological classes of the distribution of the parcel areas: (i) reverse power law with the exponent equal to 2, (ii) log-normal distribution, and (iii) reverse power law with the exponent equal to 1. These distributions correspond, respectively, to the city core, suburbs, and rural area. The analysis is based on the GIS maps.     ...

Cellar mountain in Pierzchnica in spatial structure and landscape

Pierzchnica village is situated in the Kielce county. It lies east of No.73 road within the Kielce-Chmielnik-Busko Zdrój section. At present it is a local ad-ministrative unit with rural municipality status. The locality lost its town rights and was degraded to the village status, but still retained the features testifying its character of a small town. The paper describes the storage zone called the Cellar Mountain. A complex of over eighty century cellars is situated in this area. These identical objects were constructed successively with growing number of the town inhabitants. Customarily one cellar fell to each of the property owners. The owners and users of this unique, ancient cellar complex which has been preserved to this day, are the inhabitants of Pierzchnica village. Some of the preserved objects are still used for storage, the other are going to ruin. ...
